Kellie leads on the policy work of Sense about Science, a campaigning organisation that champions the use of evidence in parliament. She is responsible for co-ordinating the annual Evidence Week event in parliament. Kellie joined Sense about Science after a year at the British Council and previous role as Research and Policy Manager at the Campaign to End Loneliness. Kellie has devoted her career to ensuring policy is evidence based and had many successes at the Campaign in ensuring loneliness campaigning was evidence based. She has a PhD in cultural geography from the Open University where she wrote her PhD thesis on the artistic response to climate change.
